Baskets from Poland by Serfenta in Tokyo

We are cooperating closely with Japan! Thanks to our work, baskets from Poland go to Tokyo and win Japanese hearts.

We will be in Tokyo in December!

“Baskets from Poland in Tokyo” – on December 15-27 you can buy our Polish baskets in the Kagoamidori shop, Tokyo. Due to the pandemic, events and lectures will be held online. We will present a story about Polish basketry to Japanese customers.

A book about Polish basketry in Japanese!

We have prepared various attractions for our partners and clients, including a summary of our book about Polish basketry – in Japanese! Together with Dinksy and RudeCatStudio, we made a beautiful video for you – see the kabłącok basket painted with ink.

Kabłącok is a unique combination of long tradition and practical design. It is made of natural willow in amazing colours. Thanks to its strong structure, flat back, feet, and the frame called kabłąk, you can rest it against the wall or hang there.

We can offer this basket to you thanks to our long-standing friendships formed during Serfenta’s basketry expeditions. By purchasing it, you support local Polish craft and the craftspeople from the village of Lucimia.

Baskets from Poland

We sell baskets from Poland all over the world. They are woven from natural materials completely by hand and in the traditional spirit, each basket is unique. They get recognition in other countries. Follow our stories on Instagram and Facebook!

The patronage was taken by the Polish Institute in Tokyo. Financed from the resources of Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
