We learn

During the field research in Poland and abroad, we put a lot of emphasis on recording the skills of master basket makers. This means that our cameras are always on to record the interviews and every detail of weaving. This way we are able to learn more and more manual tricks of the trade. We’ve also published several how-to videos (Weave it yourself). Our work results in various activities, for example the one called “Masters of Tradition”: meetings of masters and apprentices which help us preserve unique skills, such as weaving with spruce roots.
