“Sylvia asked me about my roots: where my passion for craft comes from, and how it led me to founding Serfenta. Who was my first teacher? Who did I meet on the Basketry Trail along the Vistula River, and how do those early encounters and relationships influence our business today? We also talked about our independence in choosing a business path rooted in cultural heritage. Sylvia was curious about the awards we’ve received, our audience, but also I presented my individual projects, like the pandemic-era basket-nest.”

Paulina said after the talk.
