Europa Nostra Medal in Cieszyn
The Europa Nostra Medal decorates the building, next to our headquarters in Cieszyn’s old town – the curtain has fallen and now everyone can see it! You too, when visiting Cieszyn, can come across a visible symbol of our award.

Europa Nostra Award 2024
We would like to thank you very much for coming to Cieszyn to celebrate with us the Europa Nostra Award 2024!
Serfenta received the award in the education, training and skills category. The recognition is given us for designing and implementing an original business model about the revitalization of crafts.

We would like to thank you very much for your support and involvement in the celebration of our event, which is receiving this first Europa Nostra Award in the region of Cieszyn Silesia.

The presence of representatives of Europa Nostra was particularly important for us. Together with our Serfenta Team we had a pleasure to host the Vice-President of Europa Nostra, Prof. Jacek Purchla, the Chairman of the Jury of the European Heritage Award and PhD Katarzyna Jagodzińska. The presence of regional and local authorities and institutions was very important and necessary for us – special thanks to the Cieszyn City Office Miasto Cieszyn, universities, cultural institutions, entrepreneurs and our friends!
One of our guest was the director of the Historic Mine IGNACY from Rybnik Zabytkowa Kopalnia IGNACY also awarded this year with the Europa Nostra Award.

As the representatives of the organization and at the same time – the international Serfenta brand with 16 years of experience, we were honored and happy to have an opportunity to welcome our guests in the most beautiful, historic, craftsman-made SESSION HALL of the Miasto Cieszyn in such a special moment for us.
Celebrating the Europa Nostra requires a suitable setting! We chose the place for our event with the greatest care, because our event was organised under the patronage of the Mayor of Cieszyn, Mrs Gabriela Staszkiewicz! We’re very grateful!
The honorary patronage over our event was also assumed by the Marshal of the Silesian Voivodeship, Mr. Wojciech Saługa! The Marshal was represented by Joanna Bojczuk – Członek Zarządu Województwa Śląskiego. Thank you very much!
The Vice-President of Europa Nostra, Prof. Jacek Purchla, Chairman of the Jury of the European Heritage Award, gave us a long and important speech and revealed some of the secrets behind the selection of Serfenta for the Award.
The surprise was organized by the team of Mirosława Nykiel – Posłanka do Parlamentu Europejskiego, thank you! Our event had the media patronage of TVP3 Katowice! Together with us was Szymon Piotr Brandys from Radio Katowice, thank you for the report from the event!
It is worth mentioning that the authors of the award-winning Serfenta Business Model are: Paulina Adamska, Łucja Cieślar and Urszula Szwed.
