Do you remember that we won the JIAPICH award, and we visited South Korea? The award Jeonju International Award for Promoting Intangible Culture was given to Serfenta for our work with intangible heritage with a focus on sustainable business. Apply for the award this year and visit Korea!
The main organizers, 무형문화연구원/The Center for Intangible Culture Studies and Jeonju, All about Korea – the town Jeonju hosted us amazingly during the ceremony. It was a really unforgettable international meeting in Korea. We’ve just got the beautiful prospectus about all awardees through the years. And we are also there, a part of JIAPICH history. We are pleased to announce that the 8th annual JIAPICH application will be open for download and submission at the official jiapich.org website, starting on February 1, 2026.

Applications are attached to this email. Please keep in mind the Final submission date for the JIAPICH application is April 30, 2026.
Key points of JIAPICH
Please consider the following key points from the 2026 JIAPICH application process:
• Applicants may submit only one JIAPICH application, either as an individual or as part of a group.
• UNESCO NGO accreditation is not required for the 2026 JIAPICH
application. Over the past 8 years, a total of 21 finalists have been selected,
of whom 10 have either UNESCO accreditation or are actively involved in
the UNESCO ICH Forum.
• Each year, three JIAPICH finalists are selected from an average of 48
applications.
• For applicants required to upload inventory to ichngo.net (Questionnaire F, Appendix 1), please register on the ichngo.net website, log in, click on
inventory, scroll down and use the upload button located at the bottom
right of the screen to upload. A picture attachment is included for reference.
